Ask Specific Questions in Your Accountability Groups

The following questions are suggested to use in your groups or 1 one 1.

• When is the last time you ej’ed?
• What were you doing at the time?
• Was it with or without lust?
  • IF it was with lust, did you confess it and accept your forgiveness? Did you renounce the lustful thought or object and break the sinful bonds?
  • IF it was w/o lust how did you feel afterwards? Any shame coming at you? What were you thinking and feeling?
  • IF it was when you were with your girlfriend … were you making out? Define making out? What exactly were you doing physically? What are your specific physical boundaries? How are they working for you and her? When you ej’ed, what were you thinking about? Was it spiritually and mentally pure?
• When was the time before this one, the same questions apply. (Until I know all of them since the last time we talked)

Then follow with these questions if they apply:

• Talk about taking the thoughts captive as soon as they entered your mind. When did the thoughts come and how long did it take you to bring them to Jesus?
• Did you confess to, and accept your forgiveness from Jesus? How long did it take you to pray?
  • IF not, how about praying now?
• How often is it happening? Might it be out of control or too often? Who have you talked to about this?
• Talk about any shame or other feelings you are having.
