A Word To The WomenA Word from Jamie Book to JUST the Women!LFL began as a ministry and curriculum just for men; however as time has passed and hundreds of men have been impacted, the need for women to approach the topic in the same way has become very apparent. Women struggle with lust too. Although the symptoms, or ways of going about getting to the symptoms, may be different then men, the sin issue is the same. As humans, men and women are both engaged in a battle for purity of mind, body and spirit. This battle is largely fought in our understanding of sexuality but is also in all areas of our life. The problem though is that the area of our lives we call our sexuality is one of the most sensitive, not talked about areas - especially for Christian women. We must break the silence! It’s time to not be vague with each other any more. It’s time to dive in to transparent, honest, healthy interaction with each other as women. I’m sure we all want that, but have no idea where to begin or how to break the ice in our own lives or in our relationships with each other. The LFL material is not THE answer; however it is a really cool tool to help you enter into the process of renewing your mind and experiencing the fruit of true, healthy, accountable relationships with other women. If you are interested in starting the process of not being silent about what you are struggling with anymore, I can’t encourage you enough to use the materials (book and video) with a few friends. The best part is that the process can be messy and there is a lot of "rethinking" we all have to do, but it is such a wonderfully, freeing process. So begin the process beautiful! I am excited for YOU! It is helpful to plan for 12 weeks with each other. Don’t skip anything and be thorough. Our prayer for you is that you will dangerously, yet fearlessly choose to listen as the Holy Spirit speaks to you and that God’s word would make more sense to you as you go.
