HistoryOur Beginnings:I (Lowell Seashore, author of the book) had been mentoring and leading small groups for young men for many years. As these men went off to colleges and universities they kept calling me for the lessons that I taught them because they were sharing it with their friends. I realized that they had experienced a lot of freedom in this area and I got tired of sending out lessons by mail. I got the bright idea to actually write them down so others could follow the writings and thoughts, I self published the workbook and sold it on the internet. Now after a few years we are on the third edition of the Dangerous Men book and the second for the women’s Unveil book which I co-wrote with Jamie Book. How did Unveil come to be? When co-author Jamie Book's (at the time) boyfriend joined a Dangerous Men group and began reading the material it changed his life and in turned changed his dating relationship with Jamie. Annoyed by her inability to control him and his new found freedom she contacted Lowell to give him a piece of her mind. Lowell asked Jamie to take a look at the material herself and then see what she had to say. The biblical principles outlined in the study were clear and Jamie's mind was changed. The material changed her life and her relationship with the Lord, and she quickly realized that these issues were not just affecting men. Jamie knew that women needed to hear and learn these truths as well. Lowell and Jamie began working together to co-author Unveil for women.
